**UPDATE** Here is the XC assignment - last one of the year! Students will also need the recording sheet located here. This is what we worked on in class on Thursday. This sheet is due no later than Monday 6/11. **UPDATE** Here is the answer key for the End of Module 5 Study Guide. 10 more days! We are getting close! This week we will begin with a movie ("The Outsiders") in the auditorium. Please ensure your student has returned the permission form in order to watch this movie. If not, you can send Mr. Persinger a short written statement indicating your child has permission to view the movie. Wednesday will be our Service Learning Trip to either Trap Pond or Lums Pond. All forms were due on Friday, 6/1, however if they are returned first thing on Monday morning, your child will still be able to participate. Remember, there are two forms that have be returned (they are stapled together). I am attaching the second one here if you no longer have it. Friday is our end of year trip to Jolly Rogers Water Park in Ocean City, MD! Let's keep our fingers crossed for nice weather! As for academics, Classes 1 & 2 will be taking their End of Module 5 test on Tuesday (due to movie on Monday). The study guide was given out to students who wanted to get a head start over the weekend. It is also linked here if you would like a copy. This is the last Eureka module test students will be taking this year. We will be doing some project based learning after finishing up Module 5 to get us through the end of the school year. We will touch upon topics from Module 6 (much of the beginning is review of angle relationships and other geometry topics), and we may have one final quiz of the year. I am looking forward to some fun mini-projects and learning activities with both classes in the coming days! Class 3 will be taking a quiz on Monday on part, percent and whole. They will need to create an equation, fill out a table and also create a graph which corresponds to the values in the table. This quiz will be very similar to the homework students completed last week on graph paper as well as the in-class activity that was completed on Friday. I have posted pictures of the student work below. Students should understand how to solve all of these, especially #3 and #4. I am also posting the Lesson 11 Exit Ticket here as well as the answer key. This also can be used to study for the quiz. Have a good week everyone!
