**UPDATE** Here is the answer key for the Study Guide. Please note, for #2a, as long as the student's math is correct, the approximate values they use may vary. I rounded to $60 since that is an easier number to use versus $59. The final answer however should be $72 for the steps I showed. Again, STUDENT ANSWERS MAY VARY SLIGHTLY. Also, students must show work for all steps of the second part of the test that does not allow calculators. The multiplication and long division in #6 are not shown in the answer key, but should be shown for full credit.
Hello! This week classes 1 & 2 will be completing their End of Module 4 test on Tuesday. Monday will be spent reviewing any questions on the study guide as well as completing another review activity. We will begin Module 5 (Probability & Statistics) on Wednesday. Class 3 will be beginning Module 4 this week - Percents & Proportional Relationships. Many students found this module to be a bit easier than Expressions & Equations. We will try to get through as much as possible before Smarter Balance testing in early May. Don't forget Field Trip permission forms for the STEM skating trip are due on Monday 4/16! Report card envelopes are also due back to HR teachers. Thank you in advance for getting these returned in a timely manner! Have a great week! |
