Sorry this is so late everyone! Working from home is...well, you may know the answer to that! Distracting at times!
This week we finished up Lessons 18 and 20. Next week we are starting Topic C, Comparing Populations. We're going to revisit the topic of SAMPLING VARIABILITY and hopefully answer the question, "Why should we be concerned about it"? We will talk about "meaningful differences" and "non-meaningful differences" as well as mean absolute deviation (M.A.D.). This will wrap up our discussion of Module 5 lessons. My plan is to spend the last two weeks reviewing and offering students time for remediation on topics they need additional assistance on. We are getting close to the end of the year! Just a reminder, our last school day will be Friday, June 5th! If you have a student that is part of the National Junior Honor Society, you should have received an email from Mr. Cooper with details on the video that will be taking the place of the induction ceremony as well as a DocuSign that needs to be completed and returned by 5/31. The video will be released on Tues. 5/19 at 4:00 p.m. All details can be found in the email sent by Mr. Cooper on Tues 5/12. Please let me know if you did not get this and your student is part of this program. Have a great weekend everyone!
