UPDATE: HOMEROOM STUDENTS ONLY - Please ensure Thursday folders are signed and returned no later than the following Tuesday. There are many students who have not yet returned their folders from last week. For those that have signed and returned folders - thank you!
Week one is now complete! :-) Students did a great job adjusting to their new schedules and routines and I am so proud of many students who are already exemplifying outstanding citizenship qualities (helping others, doing the right thing, trying their best)! During our second week, math classes will pick up where we left off on Lesson 1 with our discussion of rates, unit rates, ratios and equivalent ratios. The plan is to complete Lesson 6 by the end of the week. (Please keep in mind that any schedule I post for the upcoming week is tentative and may be subject to change during the week depending on how the students are doing.) Students started their interactive notebooks during week one. Typically they will be left in the classroom, however I know some students did ask to bring them home so that they could ensure they were up-to-date. Please ensure students take good care of these notebooks if they do bring them home and do not lose them. They will be very helpful to the student throughout the school year. I will be reviewing these notebooks periodically to ensure students are following all notebook rules (current, correct, legible and in pencil or colored pencil only). If you have any questions/concerns, please reach out! |
